What is a ZUGFeRD invoice?
ZUGFeRD and XRechnungen are standardized formats for electronic invoices based on XML. These standards enable you to issue ZUGFeRD invoices or XRechnungen in a uniform format that is machine-readable and can therefore be processed automatically. The aim of this change in the law is to make invoicing more efficient, faster, and more transparent. Manual intervention is reduced and potential sources of error are minimized.
The ZUGFeRD invoice offers numerous advantages that make the entire invoicing process more efficient and cost-effective:
How do you create ZUGFeRD invoices and e-invoices?
There are various programs that make it easy to create ZUGFeRD and e-invoices. These programs are often user-friendly and do not require any special technical knowledge. Important information such as address and VAT ID can be correctly stored through simple configuration in the admin area of these programs. This enables invoices to be created quickly and correctly for use both nationally and internationally. Many of these programs also offer the option of creating invoices almost automatically with just one click, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the process.
